From a young age, I never imagined pursuing an MBA. Coming from a family where government jobs were the norm, our generation has taken a different path. While my siblings pursued B.Tech degrees from IITs, I followed a different route due to my struggle with numbers, choosing biology and preparing for NEET. When I didn't clear the exam, it was disheartening. However, my elder brother offered me a new perspective: "This is not a failure; rather an opportunity. We went into engineering right after 12th grade without the chance to explore our true interests. Now you have that opportunity to choose your own path and be whatever anybody can ever be out of all the true potential and uniqueness you hold as an individual."
His words resonated deeply with me. I decided to explore what truly interested me, free from external expectations. I developed a passion for farming with my grandparents, integrating scientific methods with traditional knowledge to promote healthy, organic living for them. I also ventured into modeling and affiliate marketing, collaborating with brands like Myntra, Urbanic, and some local beauty and clothing companies. Additionally, I dedicated time to working with NGOs focused on women’s education and empowerment, and sustainable rural development.
Now, as I advance in my career, I am eager to learn about business to better serve the communities I’ve engaged with. It’s time to give back to society in a meaningful way.
We should not fear failure but rather see it as a stepping stone. By overcoming challenges and persistently working towards our goals, we can move forward with dignity and purpose. Let’s recognize our potential and strive to live life to its fullest.
